Welcome to the Palmetto Posse!! We shoot on the first Saturday of every month. Due to the temperate climate and the cool tropical breezes of summer in Columbia, we shoot 6 quicker stages in the summer, and begin at 9:30 AM instead of 10:00 allowing us to retreat to the air conditioned safety of Murray's in the early afternoon where we lie like dogs about the day's shooting. Beginning with the June match our dress code will be hats and boots and comfortable clothing in between. The safety meeting begins at 9:15, and we begin shooting at 9:30 (Summer only).
We welcome your participation. NEW shooters are always welcomed by everyone. We will provide you whatever help you need and guide you through each stage as you request.
We have a separate category for young Buckaroos and they shoot FREE.
We have a number of ladies that shoot with us regularly, and add much to the overall atmosphere of our matches.
Our main goals are Safety, Safety, Fun, and Safety.
